Raipur, January 25, 2009: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today said the Maoists have been exposed after they opposed the Indian Constitution and declare to observe that as a black day.
On January 26, the country got its Constitution and it was a great day for the country but opposing the Constitution or observing Republic Day as a black day has nothing but exposed the original face of the Maoists or naxalites, Chief Minister told reporters here at his residence today.
Calling for proper coordination between ‘Praja’ and ‘Tantra’ to strengthen ‘Prajatantra’, Singh said without a stronger democracy one can not achieve any thing.
The country was facing crisis on terror, naxal and development front, he said and urged the Maoists to stick to ballot and not bullet and give peace and development a chance to develop the state.
The Chief Minister also condole the death of senior most BJP leader of Chhattisgarh Lakhiram Agrawal, who was consigned to flame today at Kharsia.
