Raipur, November 08, 2022: Chhattisgarh Transport Department has made the Learner Licence for the people seeking Driving licence easier by opening a stall at the Rajyotshav Mela, officials said today.
Youth were seen encouraged to have the licence as the state Transport Department had opened a stall in the Rajyotshav ground from November 1 to 6, officials said.
Taking advantage of the facility, as many as 1293 youths had got on the spot learner licence, a first step to get the regular Driving licence.
Headed by Commissioner Transport Dipanshu Kabra, the Department had taken several pro-people steps to make thing easier for people to have driving licence and other facilities.
To avail facilities, even the Transport Department had also issued a helpline number 075808-08030 for the benefit of the people.
