Raipur, May 25, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today mentioned the Bastar Olympics held in Chhattisgarh and the science lab in the Maoist-affected areas in his Mann Ki Baat and said that the children of the Maoist-affected areas of Chhattisgarh have a passion for science and they are also doing wonders in sports.
Prime Minister Modi put his views in the 122nd episode of Mann Ki Baat. This episode of Mann Ki Baat was very special for Chhattisgarh. Praising the work being done in Chhattisgarh under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, the Prime Minister said that Dantewada, where Maoism was once at its peak, is today flying the flag of education.

In his address, Modi mentioned the Bastar Olympics held in Chhattisgarh and the science lab in the Maoist-affected areas. He said that the children of the Maoist-affected areas of Chhattisgarh have a passion for science and they are also doing wonders in sports.
Referring to the Bastar region, the Prime Minister said that such efforts show how courageous the people living in these areas are. These people have chosen the path of improving their lives amidst all the challenges.
He was very happy to know that the results of Dantewada district in the 10th and 12th examinations have been very excellent. With about ninety-five per cent results, this district topped in the 10th results, while in the 12th examination, this district secured the sixth position in Chhattisgarh, Modi said.
He gave the example of Bastar region to the countrymen and said that such changes fill us all with pride.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for Modi’s mention of Bastar region and Dantewada in Mann Ki Baat.
The Chief Minister said that the Chhattisgarh government is following the Prime Minister’s footsteps of developed India and developed Chhattisgarh will play an important role in this campaign.
