Raigarh, August 9, 2009: Chhattisgarh Police have registered a case against a close relative of former Union Minister and Bilaspur MP Dillip Singh Judeo and was looking for him.
Jashpur police have registered a non-bailable case against the Prince of former Jashpur estate Vikramaditya Singh Judeo on the complaint of one Shiv Prakash, a hawker of Dainik Jagran, Ranchi Edition, Jashpur District Superintendent of Police S K Dwivedi told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com over phone.
Vikramaditya is a former state Vice President of Youth Congress and the nephew of Bilaspur BJP MP Dillip Singh Judeo.
According to the complaint, Vikramaditya with his Assistant Sushil Pathak allegedly illegally detained Shiv Prakash and assaulted him for not giving free copy of the newspaper and even allegedly threatened with dire consequences.
Somehow Shiv Prakash managed to give a slip to Judeo and subsequently complaint to the police and a case has been registered under section 365, 294, 323, 506 (B) and 34 of IPC, police said.
If police investigation confirmed the incident, the arrest of the due is certain, said Station House Officer of Jashpur City Police Station Gopal Mishra.
Despite several attempts Vikramaditya Singh Judeo could not be reached for his reaction.
