Raipur, July 15, 2025: The Chhattisgarh Cabinet has decided to provide Senior Category Pay Scale to the officers of the State Police Service from the year 2005 to 2009 batch who have completed the qualifying service period.
The officers of the State Police Service today paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai at his Assembly premises office and expressed gratitude for the decision of the Cabinet.
Deputy Chief Minister-Home Vijay Sharma was also present on this occasion.

It is noteworthy that in the Cabinet meeting held on July 11, 2025, it was decided to provide Senior Category Pay Scale by creating 30 posts for proper management of the State Police Service cadre.
This decision has been taken for those officers, who have completed the prescribed eligibility period in service.
Additional Superintendent of Police Lakhan Patel, Kirtan Rathore, Anant Sahu, Dr. Sangeeta Mahelkar and Pragya Meshram were present on this occasion.
