Raipur, July 21, 2025: On completion of 25 years of Chhattisgarh state this year the Silver Jubilee Year will be organized in two phases. The first phase will be from 15 August 2025 to 31 October 2025. The second phase will be from 01 November 2025 to 6 February 2026.
Along with this, on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee Year celebration, all the departments of the state government will organise their weekly programmes, which will include their departmental schemes and the work done by the department in the state in the last 25 years.
A meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Subrat Sahu at Mantralaya regarding the Silver Jubilee Year celebrations on completion of 25 years of Chhattisgarh state formation.

In the meeting, extensive discussions were held regarding the organisation of Chhattisgarh Silver Jubilee Year. Secretaries, heads of departments, divisional commissioners and collectors participated in this meeting organised through video conferencing.
The Silver Jubilee year will include many programmes of all the departments of the state during 25 weeks from 15 August 2025 to 6 February 2026.
Officials said that the Silver Jubilee year will be organized in two phases. The first phase will be from 15 August 2025 to 31 October 2025. The second phase will be from 01 November 2025 to 6 February 2026. And on the Silver Jubilee year, all the departments will organize their weekly programmes, which will include their departmental schemes and the work done by the department in the state in 25 years.
The Additional Chief Secretary has directed the head of offices of all the departments to submit the action plan of their department to the Culture Secretary by August 5.
District Collectors have also been instructed to prepare an action plan for the programmes to be organised at the district level.
The celebration of Silver Jubilee of Chhattisgarh will be based on youth, farmers and women, in which their participation will be ensured. Programmes will be organized with the aim of promoting public pride and patriotism through active public participation, including people associated with government and private sector.
The programme will be a confluence of heritage and faith, in which activities of cultural heritage of Chhattisgarh will be included.
In the meeting, Secretary of Culture Department Rohit Yadav gave detailed information about the Silver Jubilee Year event through a presentation.
Commissioner Public Relations Dr. Ravi Mittal gave information about the inclusion of important activities of various departments in the organization of the Silver Jubilee programme.
He said that important works done by the departments during the last 25 years should be included. Silver Jubilee Year programs will be organized at Gram Panchayat, Janpad Panchayat, District level and State level.
In the meeting, departmental secretaries have been asked to appoint their departmental officers at the state and district level soon. In the Silver Jubilee programme, exhibition, public relations tour, cultural programmes, literary seminar and inspirational programmes will be organized in schools and colleges. The responsibility of all the departments of the state government has been fixed for the success of the event.
