President Mukherjee felicitates Ex-CS P Joy Oommen

     Naya Raipur, November 06, 2012: In a significant move, President of India Pranab Mukherjee today felicitated former Chief Secretary P Joy Oommen for his contribution towards the new capital project.

     The President presented a memento to Oommen on the State Award giving ceremony here this evening.

     Oommen was honoured in the Rajyotshav function for his contribution towards the construction of the new capital project, officials said.

     Oommen, as the Chairman of the Naya Raipur Development Authority, had given pace to the new capital project.

     The 1977 batch IAS Oommen was replaced by 1979 batch IAS Sunil Kumar on February 07, 2012 as the Chief Secretary.
