Raipur, December 9, 2022: In an important development, the G-20 meeting would be held here in Chhattisgarh next year.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today took a meeting in that connection.
Governor Anusuiya Uikey and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel attended the virtual meeting of the Prime Minister in which the proposed event was discussed.
It is expected that the G-20 meeting would be held during September 2023, Chief Minister Baghel said.
After taking over charges of the G-20 Prime Minister Narendra Modi had preferred to have meeting in various states to show case the art, culture and tradition of the country.
Chhattisgarh likely to host the 4th Economic Work force meeting of the G-20 and Chief Minister Baghel has assured the Prime Minister Modi to provide world class facilities during the work force meeting.
On September 09 and 10, 2023 G-20 main meeting would be organised at New Delhi. Similarly in 56 places, spread over all the states, 215 other meetings of G-20 would be organised, including in Chhattisgarh.
