Raipur, August 26, 2009: Chhattisgarh Government today ordered a magistrate probe into the death of an under trail Chaitram Nishad of the Raipur Central jail.
Sub Divisional Magistrate Bhatapara D S Kunjam has been appointed as the inquiry officer to probe the death of Chaitram Nishad, an official order said today.
Nishad, aged 57, died at the Raipur medical College Hospital on June 16, last during treatment.
The state government has appealed to the people to provide information, if any, to the inquiry officer about the death of Nishad on or before September 7, 2009 at the Bhatapara office of Kunjam.
