Rajnandgaon December 21, 2024: Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh is at the top in Ayushman card registration as the district has achieved 93.87 per cent registration against the target.
Under the leadership of Rajnandgaon District Collector Sanjay Agrawal, Rajnandgaon district is at the first place in Ayushman card registration under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Ayushman Swasthya Yojana, district officials said.
In Rajnandgaon district, 100 per cent Ayushman card registration work is being carried out. A total target of 9 lakh 39 thousand 886 has been set for Ayushman card registration from eligible ration card holder beneficiaries, out of which 8 lakh 82 thousand 288 eligible beneficiaries have been registered for Ayushman card, which is 93.87 per cent of the set target.
Officials said that Ayushman card registration of the remaining 57 thousand 598 eligible beneficiaries in the district will be done soon.
Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Netram Navratan said that 30 private hospitals are registered under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Ayushman Health Scheme in the district headquarters Rajnandgaon.
Government has set the prescribed standards in the hospitals under the scheme. According to this, the hospital has to display at the entrance or at an appropriate place a board detailing about the scheme.
Along with this, information regarding the rights and responsibilities of the patient admitted under the Ayushman Card Scheme is also to be displayed in the hospital premises.
The list of facilities for which the hospital has been granted permission by the government under Ayushman Bharat Yojana and the list of packages prescribed by the government under the facility, along with the amount, has to be displayed compulsorily in the waiting room through a flex, the official said.
Before admission in the hospital, written information has to be taken from every patient and family regarding the availability of Ayushman card. In case of non-availability of Ayushman card, a written consent letter has to be taken from the patient and the family regarding non-availability of Ayushman card. The consent letter should be written by the patient or the patient’s family member only, otherwise the consent letter will not be valid.
In case of availability of Ayushman card, registration has to be done through Ayushman card within 72 hours after the patient’s admission. Patients admitted with Ayushman card are provided free treatment ranging from Rs 50 thousand to Rs 5 lakh as per eligibility.
No additional amount is to be taken from the patient and the family in any way. The information about the amount blocked for treatment and the remaining insurance cover amount in the Ayushman card after treatment must be given to the patient and family members.
Free food is to be provided on admission of the patient in the hospital and medicines are to be given free of cost at the time of discharge, the official said.
