     Raipur, December 06, 2012: Dr Raman Singh today completed nine years in office as the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh.

     On this occasion the Chief Minister congratulated the people.

     In the last nine years Chhattisgarh has earned a distinct identity by achieving several hallmarks, he said.

     “An atmosphere of credibility and confidence has been created in the state in the last nine years,” in a message he said.

     Despite challenges in several fronts, Chhattisgarh has achieved success in socio-economic sectors, Singh said and gave credit to the people of the state for that achievement.

     By defeating Congress, BJP came to power in 2003 assembly election and Dr Raman Singh became Chief Minister. He made the party victorious again in the 2008 assembly election.
