Raipur, August 18, 2024: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) has got the lease extension of Garbham Manganese Mine in Andhra Pradesh.
This extension is a significant milestone for RINL, ensuring the sustained availability of manganese ore for the production requirement.
Manganese is used in blast furnaces for producing hot metal.
The Lease area of Garbham Manganese Mine is 654 acres and the annual consumption by RINL is about 6000 tons per annum.
The lease extension, which was a result of collaborative effort underscores the importance of strong partnerships between industry and government in driving economic progress.
CMD, RINL, Atul Bhatt has expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu for Extending lease of RINL’s Garbham Manganese Mine.
This extension is a significant milestone for RINL, ensuring the sustained availability of manganese ore for the production requirement, Bhatt said.
