Rajnandgaon, February 29, 2016: Trolley of the rope way that connects the famous Bamleswari temple today collapsed in which one person was killed and three of her family members were seriously injured.
Due to heavy rainfall and wing, the trolley of the rope way collided with a huge stone, officials said.
In that accident Bindu Mishra (68 years) of Bhubaneswar was killed where as her husband Brij Bhushan Mishra and their relatives Radhamohan Mishra and Hemlata Mishra of Raipur sustained injuries, officials said.
Bindu and her husband were guests of Radhamohan Mishra and they had come to pay darshan of Bamleswari Devi when the incident took place.
All the four persons were immediately rushed to Rajnandgaon district hospital in an injured condition, where during treatment Bindu died, the officials said.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh has expressed his deep sorrow over the incident and announced a financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh rupees to the deceased family.
