     Ambikapur, June 13, 2009: Sarguja District Collector Dr Kamalpreet Singh today directed the District officials to carry out checking in of every fair price shop at least once every month in the district and also issuance of computerized land records.

     The Revenue and Food officials should conduct inspection of fair price shop at least once every month and that should be done when there is stock of essential commodities, Singh directed his officials.

     Also while reviewing the works of the Revenue officials in the monthly review meeting he also threatened to suspend the revenue officials if they provide hand made maps and records to the locals.

     Singh also directed the Ambikapur Tehsildar to stop with immediate effect issuance of manual land records.

     Patwaris have been issued computers and printers and in spite of that if they provide hand written B-1 and land records to the people they would be suspended, he said.
