Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has tweeted that approval has been given for the construction of 11.380 km long 4-lane bypass at a cost of Rs 307.96 crore to make the Keshkal Ghat section on National Highway-43 (new NH-30) smooth and safe in Kondagaon district of Chhattisgarh.
This bypass will be in accordance with the paved shoulder standard and its construction will give a new dimension to connectivity in the Bastar zone.

He said this approval is a result of the coordinated development policy of the Centre and the state government, which is another concrete step towards mainstreaming tribal zones like Bastar.
