Raipur, August 18, 2026: Addressing the state-level review meeting of ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’ (My Bharat) held at the Mantralaya today, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai stated that India is one of the youngest nations in the world.
Sai emphasized that the energy, talent, creativity, and innovative capacity of the youth constitute the greatest strength in building a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India).
The Chief Minister remarked that to realize the vision of a developed Chhattisgarh alongside a developed India, the youth must be extensively integrated into the nation-building process by providing them with opportunities aligned with their interests and capabilities. Engaging youth in social and community activities will strengthen their leadership qualities, spirit of service, sense of social responsibility, and dedication to the nation.
While reviewing the activities of ‘My Bharat’ in detail, Sai directed officials to connect the maximum number of youths in the state to this platform and ensure their active participation in the activities of various government departments.
He stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the aim is for every young person in the country to join the mainstream of development and play a role in nation-building. It is with this objective that a comprehensive platform like ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’ was launched. The Prime Minister takes a keen interest in the ideas, aspirations, and activities of the youth and regards youth power as a key pillar of the resolve to build a developed India.
It was informed during the meeting that ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’ is a digital and physical platform connecting youth with government, society, and nation-building activities. Prime Minister Modi launched it on October 31, 2023. Currently, over 2.65 crore youths across the country are registered on the ‘My Bharat’ platform. In Chhattisgarh, too, more than 6.60 lakh youths have joined this platform.
‘My Bharat’ is being developed as a single-window digital platform bridging the youth and the government, offering information on volunteering, experiential learning, skill development, leadership, and various nation-building activities and opportunities in one place. A ‘My Bharat’ app has also been developed for the convenience of the youth.
