     Raipur, October 11, 2026: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today stated that healthy citizens are the strongest foundation for a developed and prosperous Chhattisgarh.

     The Chief Minister stated that providing accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare to every citizen of the state is among the top priorities of the state government.

     With this commitment, continuous efforts are being made to strengthen health infrastructure, expand modern medical facilities, and provide better healthcare services to remote areas. As a result of these efforts, Chhattisgarh is rapidly developing as a major medical hub in Central India, he added.

     Addressing the inauguration ceremony of a private hospital in the capital Raipur today, Chief Minister Sai stated that in the event of a serious illness, patients and their families face financial burdens and many practical difficulties when they have to travel to other states for treatment.

     The state government is striving to ensure that the residents of the state have access to as many specialist and super-specialty medical services as possible within Chhattisgarh, Sai said.

     He stated that the expansion of modern hospitals and specialized medical services in various areas of the state, including Raipur, will steadily reduce dependence on other states for the treatment of serious illnesses. This will benefit not only the citizens of Chhattisgarh but also patients from neighboring states.

     The Chief Minister stated that the coordinated efforts of government and private institutions in the health sector are developing a strong healthcare ecosystem in the state. The opening of modern hospitals will not only provide quality treatment to the public but will also create new employment opportunities for doctors, nursing staff, paramedical personnel, and youth.
