Sant Pawan Diwan passes away

     Raipur, March 02, 2016: Sant Pawan Diwan passed away today at Medanta hospital Gurgaon.

     Diwan was Jail Minister in undivided Madhya Pradesh and former legislature and MP also.

     Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh expressed deep sorrow over his death and said his last rites would be performed with full state honour.

     Born on January 01, 1945, Diwan was elected to Madhya Pradesh Assembly from Rajim and became Jail Minister.

     He was a known poet of the state.

     His last rites would be performed tomorrow.
