Raipur, February 02, 2015: Chhattisgarh State Election Commission today issued show cause notices to Dantewada district collector K C Devasenapathi.
Unauthorised absent from the district headquarters and for not taking Panchayat election works seriously, the show cause was served on the 2007 batch IAS officer.
The State Election Commission was annoyed with K C Devasenapathi as he was asked not to go to Delhi. But the IAS officer refused to listen to the state Election Commission and despite disapprove proceeded to Delhi, Election Commission sources said.
The Commission asked the District Collector why not he be suspended for his act of indiscipline.
Devasenapathi has been asked to submit his reply by 4 PM of February 4, the sources said.
