Kanker, May 16, 2009: BJP Sitting MP Sohan Potai today won from his traditional Kanker seat for the third time.
Potai defeated his nearest rival from Congress Phulo Devi Netam by a margin of 19288 votes.
Potai got 341131 votes where as Netam secured 321843 votes Mira Salam of BSP was slipped into third position with 13709 votes.
