Speaker Meira Kumar in Raipur on Jan 27

     Raipur, January 25, 2012: Lok Sabah Speaker Meira Kumar would unveil a statue of former Chief Minister of undivided Madhya Pradesh Shyama Charan Shukla on Saturday, next, officials said today.

     The Speaker would be on a two-day tour of the state from Friday, officials said here.

     Meira Kumar would be arriving here in the evening on January 27 and make a night halt here.

     She would unveil a statue of the former Congress Chief Minister at Gandhi Udyan, Raipur on January 28, the officials said.

     The Speaker would leave for Delhi in the evening, they added.
