Governor Dutt collapses during R D Parade

     Raipur, January 26, 2012: Chhattisgarh Governor Shekhar Dutt was today fainted during the ceremonial Republic Day Parade ceremony at Police Parade Ground here.

     While addressing the ceremony from the dais the Governor fainted, who was immediately helped and rested in the near by chair by his ADC and other senior officials.

     The incident sent a moment of anxiety among the people, present in the ground and outside.

     But with in a couple of minutes, the Governor resumed his address and also gave away some prizes to participants.

     Although his ambulance was put in place, but the Governor preferred to walk up to his marked vehicle and went to the Raipur Medical College Hospital, Raipur for a detailed check up.

     The Doctors attended him told reporters that the ECG, sugar and blood pressure were normal and he had been advised a detailed check up.

     Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh and several dignitaries have inquired about his health condition.
