Raipur, May 08, 2015: A day ahead of the tour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, storm today badly damaged the meeting place of the premier.
Two domes caved in due to storm and heavy rainfall injuring about 30 people, eye witnesses said.
Several police men have also been injured in the incident, which took place in the Naya Raipur area of Chhattisgarh.
PWD Minister Rajesh Munat had a providential escape as he was in the area when the dome caved injuring several people.
The Minister was on the meeting place to review the preparation for the meeting of Modi.
Many civil and police officials admitted that the incident could be treated as a lapse in the security of the prime minister.
