Bilaspur, December 10, 2009: President of India Pratibha Patil has appointed Justice Tankeshwar Prasad Sharma as the full time judge of the Chhattisgarh High Court.
Justice Sharma was appointed as the Additional Judge of the Chhattisgarh High Court when he was functioning as the Principal Secretary Law of the State.
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice Sharma, Additional Judge of the Chhattisgarh High Court, to be Judge of the Chhattisgarh High Court, with effect from the date he assumes charges of his office, a government order said.
