Raipur, November 2, 2008: BJP North candidate from Raipur North seat, Sachidanand Upasane has resigned from his office of profit post to contest the November Assembly election.
The resignation of Upasane from the Chairmanship of the Chhattisgarh Beverage Corporation has been accepted, official sources said. The senior BJP leader had resigned on October 31, last.
Upasane had joined the Corporation on June 25, 2005 and he had to resign as he has been made the candidate in Raipur North seat by his ruling BJP.
