Raipur, March 18, 2011: A website would soon be created exclusively for showcasing the rich history and archeological importance of Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh said today.
Singh said his government would promote research on archeological importance and history of Chhattisgarh.
Historians and people working on archeologists would be provided all assistances for conducting comprehensive research on Chhattisgarh and also its preservation, the Chief Minister told a function here inaugurating a book Chhattisgarh Abhilekh Chhabi.
In an attempt to take the research works to the people a website would be created on the history and archeology of Chhattisgarh, he said.
For proper documentation of its history, a nodal officer would soon be appointed to bring back the historical documents relating to Chhattisgarh from the Madhya Pradesh, Singh said.
