Rajnandgaon, November 15, 2012: In a serious allegation against the Rajnandgaon police, a woman people’s representative has complaint that she was abused and assaulted in a local police station.
Word member of Chouki urban local body Anju Sinha has complaint that she was abused and assaulted in the Chouki Police station of Rajnandgaon district in Chhattisgarh.
Sinha met District Collector Ashok Agrawal on Monday last and complaint against the Chouki Police station, official sources said here today.
The people’s representative has also demanded a thorough probe into the incident and stern action against the culprits.
However, when contacted, Rajnandgaon SP Sanjeev Shukla today dismissed the allegation.
“It is a baseless allegation,” Shukla told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com.
“She wanted one sided police action in a case. And not succeeded in that she might have levelled such allegations,” the SP said.
However, police would look into her allegation also, he added.
