     Raipur, January 13, 2016: A total of over 2.35 crore Adhar cards have been distributed so far in the state, a high level meeting was informed today.

     Chief Secretary Vivek Kumar Dhand today made a Collector Conference through video and spoke to all the district administrations and reviewed the developmental works.

     The meeting was informed that a total of 2,35,32000 adhar cards have been issued so far.

      The state has 18,85,820 LPG consumers, out of which Adhar number has been linked with 12,31,456 connections.

     This is 66 per cent of the total LPG connections of the state, they said.

     Similarly 21,15,301 MNREGS workers adhar number has been linked to their passbook.

     Also the bank accounts of 3,50,089 beneficiaries under the Central Government Social Insurance Scheme have been linked with their Adhar number.
