     Tameswar Nagar (Balrampur), January 14, 2016: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today dedicated a helipad of Balrampur district, thus opening the new district for air communication.

     However, the Chief Minister said his government was trying to connect the district through railway line.

     The helipad, located in Tameswar Nagar, was constructed by the state government with an estimated cost of about Rs 14 crore.

     With that the total numbers of helipads in Chhattisgarh have gone up to nine.

     In Darima (Ambikapur), Chakarbhata (Bilaspur) Nandini (Bhilai), Jagdalpur, Jashpur Nagar, Korba and two helipads are there in Raigarh.
