New Delhi, October 11, 2022: After freezing the Bow-and-Arrow symbol of Shiv Sena, the Election Commission of India has allotted the “Two Swords and Shield” poll symbol to the Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde faction of the party.
The Shinde faction would also be known as “Balasahebanchi Shiv Sena” and has been allotted “Do Talwarein aur Ek Dhal” symbol.
The Uddhav Thackeray-led Sena faction has earlier been allotted the poll symbol “flaming torch” (mashaal).
The Commission had ordered last week to freeze the Shiv Sena’s Bow-and-Arrow symbol.
Some leaders from Shiv Sena Chhattisgarh unit recently met the Maharashtra Chief Minister Shinde and had expressed faith on his leadership.
