Raipur, October 11, 2022: Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today came down heavily on his arch rival and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel after sleuths from the Enforcement Directorate raided premises of multiple districts in the state.
“It is unimaginable that the central agency will raid premises of so many officials of the state,” BJP national Vice President Dr Raman Singh told reporters here.
The incident had brought disrespect to the state, he said.
He also alleged that the Chief Minister is being treated as an ATM by Congress and Sonia Gandhi.
He also claimed 25 rupees are being illegally collected per ton of coal.
Strongly reacting to the statement of Dr Raman Singh, PCC Communication Department Chairman Sushil Anand Shukla said the statement reflected that the ED raid was part of a conspiracy of the BJP.
The Action by the ED has not yet been completed, then how come, Dr Raman is giving statement of the outcome of the raid, senior Congress leader Shukla questioned.
He also said people are witnessed to the 15 years rule of corruption by the previous government and the people are well aware of the design of the BJP.
The ED today conducted raids in the premises of many prominent politicians, government officials and businessmen in Chhattisgarh.
