     Raipur, March 08, 2011: Chhattisgarh Government today admitted in the state assembly that 32 cases had been registered against police of assaulting people in the state.

     In the year 2009-10 15 cases and in 2010-11 17 cases have been registered of police assaulting people, replying to a question of Paresh Bagbahara of Congress Home Minister Nanki Ram Kanwar told the state assembly.

     Of the 32 cases, action had been initiated against 30 accused, the Minister said.
