Raipur, March 17, 2016: Chhattisgarh will have four smart cities namely Raipur, Bilaspur, Korba and Bhilai, Minister Amar Agrawal told the state Assembly today.
The house was discussing the budget allocations of the departments of Urban Administration, Commerce and Industries and Commercial taxes Minister Amar Agrawal.
Replying to a discussion on his departments, the Minister said Raipur, Bilaspur, Korba and Bhilai will be made smart city.
Raipur and Bilaspur have been declared by the Centre as smart city and from its own resources Korba and Bhilai would be converted as Smart cities, Agrawal said.
On a voice vote the budget allocations were passed in the Assembly after the reply of the Minister.
