     Dantewada, April 6, 2010: Maoists today killed at least 60 central para military personnel and another 15 were reported missing in Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh, a top police official said.

     At least 60 CRPF personnel were killed by the Maoists in Tadmetla area of Dantewada district, about 550 km from the state capital, Dantewada District Superintendent of Police Amresh Mishra told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com.

     After the incident about 15 other security forces are missing and they are also feared dead, the SP also said.

     About 80 security forces were on an anti-naxal operation in the Chintalnar forest area when about 1000 Maoists attacked them at 5.30 AM today, police said.

     The Maoists have also blown up an Anti-Landmine vehicle, which was rushing to the spot to rescue the injured security personnel, they said.
