Ambikapur, July 17, 2010: It seems the practices of the official of Sarguja region of remaining absent from their office with out taking leave was not changing and in a similar case, two of the education department officials had been served show cause notice.
During the surprise visit of the Sarguja divisional Commissioner Maheshwar Sai Painkra to Lundra block he found two of the education officers were absent from duty with out any leave application yesterday, officials said today.
Block Education Officer and Block Resource Coordinaor of the Sarv Siksha Abhiyan were found by the Commissioner during inspection absent from their duty with out any leave application, they said.
Both have been served show cause notices to explain why action would not be initiated against them for remaining absent from the headquarters with out any permission, the officials said.
