Raipur, October 6, 2008: IAS Officer Alok Awasthy today took over charges as the Deputy Secretary to the Chief Minister.
Before assuming new charges Awasthy was posted as the District Collector of Janjgir-Champa.
On October 1 last Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh had shifted two of his district collectors while issued posting orders for three IAS officers and all the three had been directed to take charges immediately.
Chief Minister’s Deputy Secretary Rajpal Singh Tyagi was appointed as the District Collector of Dhamtari and Dhamtari Collector T C Mahawar was shifted to Janjgir-Champa on the same post to replace Awasthy.
