Raipur, February 15, 2015: After recovery of crores of cash from the headquarters of the Nagarik Apurti Nigam three days back, the Managing Director of NAN Anil Tuteja was removed today.
Anil Tuteja was removed from the post of MD NAN, official sources said.
From the passion of PA to the MD, computer operator and Manager a total of nearly Rs 2 crore cash was recovered in a raid by the Anti Corruption Bureau on February 12 at the NAN headquarters.
Tuteja is a close confidant of a senior bureaucrat of the state.
During the ACB raid at the headquarters of the NAN, from the chamber of Girish Sharma, steno of the Managing Director NAN, Rs 20 lakh cash was recovered.
Rs 1.69 crore cash was recovered from the chamber of the Manager Shiv Shankar Bhat.
Rs 36 lakh was recovered from the residence of the NAN Computer operator Chitram.
Rs 7.25 lakh were recovered from the district officer Sudhir Kumar Bhole.
From the residence of D K Sharma, who is working in Balod Ware house, the ACB seized Rs 30 lakh cash.
Simultaneously raids were carried out in 28 places and huge cash and other documents were recovered.
Brijesh Chandra Mishra has been posted in place of Tuteja. Mishra has also been given the additional charge of MD State Warehouse corporation.
Tuteja has been posted as Director Panchayat.
