Raipur, October 07, 2026: A special campaign is being launched in Chhattisgarh, as per the directives of the Election Commission of India, to enroll left-out and first-time voters after the completion of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls 2026.
Officials stated that the Chief Electoral Officer Raipur has issued necessary instructions to the District Election Offices in this regard.
Under this special campaign, eligible individuals currently unregistered in the electoral rolls and those whose names have been removed from the electoral rolls for some reason will be able to apply to enroll their names in the electoral rolls.
They stated that the objective of the campaign is to ensure maximum participation in the democratic process by providing eligible citizens with the opportunity to enroll in the electoral rolls.
The administration has also appealed to eligible citizens to take advantage of this special campaign, complete the necessary procedures to enroll their names in the electoral rolls, and exercise their right to vote.
