Raipur, February 18, 2015: Chhattisgarh government today suspended the Manager of NAN Shiv Shankar Bhat after Rs 1.69 crore cash was recovered from his office chamber in a Anti-Corruption Bureau raid.
“A total of 18 officials, including Bhat were suspended after the ACB raid,” official sources said.
After taking over charges by new MD Brijesh Chandra Mishra the 18 employees were suspended and two employees were dismissed from service, they said.
G K Dewangan, Girish Sharma and Sandip Agrawal have also been suspended.
Crores rupees of cash had been recovered from their possession in a ACB raid on February 12, last following which they have been suspended.
