Bhilai, November 9, 2008: BSP Supremo and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati today pulled up Congress and BJP and charged them of patronising capitalists.
Both the Congress and BJP are patronising capitalists, because of which people wanted a change in Chhattisgarh, Mayawati said here while addressing a well attended party election meeting and appealed to the voters of 39 assembly constituencies going to poll in first phase on November 14, to vote for Bahujan Sawaj Party.
Also the Central and state Governments have done little for the poors, because of which problems like naxalism are not being solved in the state, she said.
If BSP comes to power, it would provide a fearless, free from atrocities, development oriented government in the state, Mayawati said.
The way the poors are benefited by her government in Uttar Pradesh, similar steps would be taken here in Chhattisgarh also, where tribals are in majority, she said.
BSP was determined to improve the economic condition of the poors and check price rise as both the Congress and the BJP have ignored the basic needs of the people and pushed them into a difficult situation during their rules, the BSP supremo said.
BSP has fielded candidates in all the 90 assembly seats, out of which 39 are going to poll on Friday next where as 51 on November 20.
