Bilaspur, November 20, 2008: Unknown people today threw stones at the vehicle of former Chief Minister Ajit Jogi in Marwahi.
When Jogi was on a visit of Giribar polling booth, some people strongly protested that the vehicle of the Congress candidate Jogi was with in 100 metre area of the booth.
When the protest turned violent one of the people present there threw a single stone at the vehicle of Jogi, in which its front wind shield was broken, officials told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com.
However, Jogi is safe as he was not present in the vehicle when the incident took place, they said.
When contacted, Bilaspur District Collector Subodh Singh said officials have reached the spot of Marwahi constituencies and the matter was being probed.
However, talking to reporters Jogi blamed his political rival for the incident.
