Baikunthpur, April 27, 2024: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today came down heavily on the main opposition Congress and claimed the grand old party has never fulfilled any of its election promises.
In the 2019 Assembly election the Congress party had made 36 promises to the people. But not a single was fulfilled by the Congress government, Chief Minister Sai told an election meeting at Patan of Korea district in northern part of Chhattisgarh.
The previous Bhupesh Baghel government was busy in irregularities and corrupt practices, Sai alleged and said because of the wrong doing in DMF fund the former collector has been languishing in the jail currently.
Whether coal, liquor, DMF or cow dung the Congress was involved in corruptions because of which several of its leaders are either in jail or facing criminal cases, the Chief Minister said.
He appealed to the people to vote for Saroj Pandey, who is contesting from the Korba Lok Sabha seat against sitting MP Jyotshna Mahant of Congress.
