Raipur, July 28, 2023: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today asked the top police officers of all the ranges to ensure safety of women in the state.
The Chief Minister today took a meeting of the newly posted Inspector General of Police (IGPs) and Deputy Inspector Generals of Police (DIGs) of all the police range in the state.
The Chief Minister reviewed the law and order situation and women safety measures taken by the state police, official sources said.
Gambling of all natures, including online gaming, satta, stabbings and history-sheeters should be controlled effectively, Baghel said.
In the CM House meeting Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain and DGP Ashok Juneja were also present. The Chief Minister also directed the DGP Juneja to take review meetings on regular interval on the law and order situation in the state.
