Raipur, April 29, 2025: In an important announcement, Chhattisgarh government has declared to give an incentive amount of one lakh rupees to the candidates who passed the main examination of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
This decision has been taken on the instructions of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, under which the Urban Administration Department has issued an order and included it under the Mayor Samman Rashi Nidhi.

This announcement of the Chhattisgarh government is an inspirational step for the youth preparing for UPSC, which will promote a competitive environment among the participants regarding the UPSC examination in the state.
5 candidates from Chhattisgarh achieve great success in UPSC 2024: The Union Public Service Commission declared the final results of the Civil Services Examination 2024 on April 22, 2025, in which five candidates from Chhattisgarh have brought glory to the state by performing brilliantly.

The names of these candidates and their ranks are – Poorva Agarwal (Raipur) – 65th rank, Arpan Chopra (Mungeli) – 313th rank, Mansi Jain (Jagdalpur) – 444th rank, Keshav Garg (Ambikapur) – 496th rank, Shachi Jaiswal – 654th rank. These candidates have not only achieved personal success with their hard work and dedication, but have also made Chhattisgarh proud at the national level.

Incentive amount will be given from Mayor Samman Rashi Fund: According to the Urban Administration Department, this incentive amount will be provided from the Mayor Samman Rashi Fund operated under the Municipal Corporations. Under this scheme, all eligible candidates who pass the main examination of UPSC will be given financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh. This step will not only provide financial assistance to the candidates but will also increase their confidence.
Competitive environment will increase in the state: Education experts and UPSC coaching institutes have appreciated this announcement. They say that this decision of Chief Minister Sai will prove to be a game-changer for the youth of Chhattisgarh.
