Raipur, June 19, 2025: To ensure food distribution under One Nation One Ration Card Scheme, the Chhattisgarh government has appealed to all ration card holders to get their and all family members’ e-KYC completed before June 30, so that there is no inconvenience in food grain distribution.
Under the “One Nation, One Ration Card” scheme of the Government of India, Aadhaar authentication based foodgrain distribution is being ensured in the state of Chhattisgarh.

Chhattisgarh Food Secretary Reena Babasaheb Kangale said that to implement this process smoothly, it is necessary to compulsorily complete the e-KYC of the family members of all ration card holders associated with the Public Distribution System (PDS).
Food Secretary Kangale informed that e-KYC facility is available through e-POS machines in all fair price shops of the state.
Along with this, through the “Mera e-KYC” mobile application developed by the Government of India, beneficiaries can do their own e-KYC from home using their smartphones.
To do e-KYC through the Mera e-KYC app, download the app from Google Play Store in Android mobile, select the state, enter your Aadhaar number and do face e-KYC through Aadhaar OTP.
Kangale has appealed to all ration card holders to get their and all family members’ e-KYC completed mandatorily before the last date of 30 June 2025, so that there is no inconvenience in food grain distribution.
At present, 81.56 lakh ration cards are in circulation in Chhattisgarh, in which 2.73 crore members are registered.
Out of these, e-KYC of 2.35 crore members have been completed, while e-KYC of about 38 lakh members is not yet completed.
Children below 5 years of age are exempted from e-KYC by the Government of India.
