Raipur, June 30, 2025: For the overall development of the logistics sector in Chhattisgarh, the cabinet meeting held today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai approved the Chhattisgarh State Logistics Policy-2025.
Officials said, the Cabinet has approved the draft of Chhattisgarh State Logistics Policy-2025 for the overall development of the logistics sector in the state.
With this policy, Chhattisgarh will develop as a logistics hub and will strengthen the export infrastructure, they said.
Taking advantage of the geographical location of the state, domestic and multinational companies of logistics sector and e-commerce will be attracted to invest for setting up logistics hubs, the state government said.
This will increase the storage capacity of the state, which will provide cheap storage facilities to the industries, traders and farmers of the state. Also, due to reduction in the cost of logistics in the state, trade, investment and economic development will be promoted, the government added.

By encouraging the establishment of dry ports/inland container depots through this policy, micro, small and medium industries and local producers will get an opportunity to reach export markets.
An eco-system will be created for the export of the state’s abundant forest resources, forest produce and medicinal products, it said.
The government said that this policy will also create new employment opportunities for the youth of the state and will establish the state as a leading player in the logistics and export sector.
