Raipur, November 22, 2025: The procurement of paddy from farmers at the support price continues uninterrupted in all districts of Chhattisgarh.
Official sources stated that the inflow of paddy at procurement centers has begun to accelerate. All committees and procurement centers are procuring paddy from farmers without interruption.
They stated that the entire process, from online token collection to paddy weighing through the Token Tuhar Hath app, is extremely easy and convenient.
Farmers are now coming to the paddy procurement centers in Bilaspur district in large numbers to sell their paddy.
The centers have also ensured the availability of sheds, drinking water, lighting, and gunny bags. The positive response from farmers in the area has proven the centers’ arrangements to be transparent.
Sanjay Pandey, a farmer who came to sell paddy at the Jayaramnagar paddy procurement center in the Masturi block, said that he cultivates paddy on approximately 4 to 5 acres and comes here every year to sell paddy. His token number was drawn today, and he faced no problems in obtaining the token. He is completely satisfied with the center’s arrangements.
Tijaram Sahu, a farmer from Khaira, who came to sell paddy, said that he brought 134 bags of paddy to the committee to sell it. His token was easily obtained, and his paddy was sold at the support price. Now, he can return home without any worries.
Good quality gunny bags are available at the paddy procurement center, and the staff has been cooperative, he added.
It is noteworthy that with the start of paddy procurement on November 15, the pace of paddy procurement has increased at the district’s procurement centers.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai’s farmer-centric policies and the activeness of the local administration have changed the landscape. Today, the technology-based token system, faster weighing process, and timely payments at procurement centers have increased the confidence of farmers, the sources said.
