Raipur, April 16, 2026: Taking another significant step towards ensuring a strong future and a transparent recruitment system for the youth of Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today distributed appointment letters to 430 Laboratory Attendants selected under the Higher Education Department, during a programme held in the capital city, Raipur.
On this occasion, while congratulating all the newly appointed candidates, the Chief Minister stated that the state government is fully committed to building a bright future for the youth.
He remarked that comprehensive reforms have been implemented to make recruitment processes in the state transparent, fair, and systematic, and the positive results of these measures are now beginning to emerge.

Sai noted that, with the objective of ensuring integrity and accountability within the administration, the ‘Department of Good Governance and Convergence’ has been established. Furthermore, the operations of the various ministries have been integrated with an e-system to effectively block avenues for corruption.
He unequivocally stated that no form of injustice against the future of the youth will be tolerated.
The Chief Minister asserted that by handing over the investigation into the previous PSC scam to the CBI, the government has sent a clear message that transparency and justice are its highest priorities. Additionally, stringent legal provisions have been enacted to prevent the use of unfair means in recruitment examinations, thereby further strengthening the credibility of these tests.

He further added that work is currently underway to establish the ‘Chhattisgarh Staff Selection Board’ and to implement a fixed ‘Examination Calendar’ in order to make recruitment processes simpler and more accessible.
The Chief Minister highlighted that, through the state’s new industrial policy, employment opportunities for local youth within the private sector are being expanded. By providing incentives to industries, the pace of job creation is being accelerated, ensuring that alongside government jobs, the private sector also emerges as a robust and viable option for the youth.
Calling upon all the newly appointed employees to discharge their duties with loyalty, honesty, and dedication, Sai urged them to play an active role in building a ‘Developed Chhattisgarh.’

Higher Education Minister Tankram Verma described this recruitment drive as a significant achievement, emphasizing that the entire process has been grounded in the principles of transparency, fairness, and good governance. He stated that this marks a historic initiative aimed at securing the rightful entitlements of deserving and talented youth.
Minister Verma explained that a counseling system was adopted to ensure transparency even within the placement process. This mechanism reflects the government’s unwavering commitment to good governance.
He further remarked that, with the vision of a ‘Developed India by 2047’ in mind, this new generation is poised to play a pivotal role in steering Chhattisgarh toward new dimensions of progress and prosperity. The recent appointments of Lab Technicians—followed now by those of Laboratory Attendants—serve as clear evidence of the government’s proactive engagement in this direction.

Speaking at the event, Dr. S. Bharathidasan, Secretary of Higher Education, congratulated the selected candidates and encouraged them to discharge their duties with utmost sincerity and dedication. Also present on the occasion were Dr. Santosh Dewangan, Commissioner of the Department of Higher Education, along with other departmental officials and staff members.
