Raipur, March 29, 2023: Justice Ramesh Sinha today took oath as the new Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh High Court.
Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan administered oath to Justice Sinha in a function at the Durbar Hall of the Raj Bhawan.
Justice Sinha was appointed a judge of the Allahabad High Court on November 21, 2011 and had decided a record 1,34,200 cases as a judge of the High Court of judicature at Allahabad.
Justice Sinha is the 15th Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh High Court.
After the oath, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel congratulated him.
Besides the Chief Minister, people from the judiciary, Ministers, BJP leaders and other dignitaries were present in the oath taking ceremony.
