Raipur, May 02, 2026: Chhattisgarh’s Deputy Chief Minister and MLA for Lormi Arun Sao toured the town of Lormi on a scooter today to inspect ongoing development works.
During his tour, Sao took stock of the construction work for a garden, a pond, and a cremation ground (Muktidham) in Ranigaon.
He gathered information regarding the progress of the entrance gate, drainage construction, and the bridge being built over the Maniari River, subsequently issuing directives to expedite these projects.
Sao interacted with the youth at the bus stand gym and assessed the healthcare facilities by inspecting the medical unit operating under the Slum Health Scheme. Additionally, he inaugurated the construction work for the Nalanda Complex (a modern library).
During his tour, Deputy Chief Minister Sao engaged in warm interactions with children and women, inquiring about their well-being and concerns. He also enjoyed a magic show being performed by a magician in Brahman Para.
At his MLA office in Lormi, Sao held discussions with local citizens regarding development initiatives and urged everyone to ensure that public welfare schemes reach the common people.
While inspecting the ongoing beautification work at the Shiva Temple in Ramhepur, he remarked that public trust is strengthened only through time-bound and high-quality development.
